WHAT IS KHALILA OIL

Our Khalila oil is an extravagant blend of the finest Broccoli seed, Green Coffee Bean, Watermelon, ylang-ylang, and jasmine oils is designed specifically for the needs of dry and damaged hair. 

Broccoli seed oil is known as a natural silicone because of its unrivalled ability to keep frizz at bay. The high levels of vitamin B6 and Calcium strengthens hair and its vitamin C content contributes to thicker hair. Green Coffee bean oil is a powerful hydrant with high levels of phytosterols, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids. Watermelon is a restorative, nourishing and balancing oil rich in linoleic and oleic acids.

Our powerhouse carrier oils are further hand-blended with ylang-ylang and jasmine essential oils. Both essential oils contain properties that will protect your scalp and skin from microbial growth, bacterial, viral, and fungal infections. This is the ultimate in luxury and decadence for dry, coarse or damaged hair.

How to use on hair

The Khalila oil is a rich blend of heavy oils balanced with watermelon seed oil and double blended with essential oils. This is a super nourishing oil and a little goes a long way. You can use this oil in multiple ways: you can use it to seal moisture into your hair if you are using the LCO or LOC method, which for most simply means you can use it after your leave-in conditioner, or before your leave-in, depending on how you moisturise your hair.

Hot oil treatment: You can also use the Khalila oil as a hot oil treatment, BUT you must leave the oil in your hair for at least an hour before you wash it out. Please do not heat the oil in a microwave. Instead, put a little oil in a bowl and place the bowl of oil onto another bowl of boiled water. The hot water will heat the Khalila oil, use the oil when it is warm to the touch. Please leave the hot oil treatment on your hair for at least an hour. Anything less than an hour is unlikely to penetrate to the level necessary to infuse your hair strands with the nourishment these oils provide. As the oil is quite concentrated you may wish to dilute it with our olive oil or another oil of your choice eg coconut or sweet almond. Let this oil sink into your hair and scalp for the multi-purpose goodness it delivers. If you are using it on your scalp or as an overnight treatment please ensure that you wash your hair and scalp after this deep treatment.  

How to use on skin

Cleanse skin as normal and use the Khalila oil as a night time moisturiser for improved hydration and texture.
