My name is Titilolami Bello and I’m delighted you are reading this blog. My hope is that you pick up valuable skills and tips on how to care for Afro-textured hair, but more than that, my intention is to create a lifestyle hub that empowers you to make informed decisions about beauty products, services, and your well-being. I intend to learn alongside you, so this blog will often feature unique and knowledgeable voices on hair, skin, and well-being more generally.
So here is a little about me. I am the last of five children and I lost my father when I was 6. I grew up in Nigeria and England. My early years in Nigeria were marred by abject poverty, hence I founded the charity Path to Possibilities in 2009. Path to Possibilities is the UK registered charity that supports disadvantaged children through education in Nigeria. It is important to me that this brand gives back, so with each product or service you purchase, we will donate 50p to Path to Possibilities. The plan is to increase this donation to £1 over the next two years.
I live with my husband, Shola and our two children Fadeke and Adejare. Both of my children are on their own different hair journey.
In 2016 I competed in my first and last bodybuilding competition but I still consider myself to be an amateur bodybuilder. I am a certified nutritionist and I am curious and interested in everything well-being related. I have a deep love for Nigerian and Italian food, as well as the Nigerian Yoruba language, from which the name of this brand is derived.
You will learn more about me over the months and hopefully years, and I hope that I get to know you all better so that I can continue to be of service. Thank you for reading and stay connected.
